Ideal candidate has Bachelors or Masters Degree preferably in computer programming, statistics, engineering, math, or other technical major; 15+ years experience programming with SAS in support of data management and/or statistics functions; expert in SAS programming, including base and macro. Strong knowledge of SAS/Graph, SAS/Stat products, and SAS EG; expert in SQL syntax; experience with Windows (XP) and UNIX (Solaris) operating systems; ability to create advanced SQL code to extract data from different data platforms, such as Teradata, IBM DB2, Oracle; well versed in database technologies such IBM DB2 (mainframe and open systems platforms), Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL Server, and able to access them via SAS/Access; ability to lead/manage multiple projects, complex projects, and staff with minimal assistance; excellent communication skills desired.
