Operations & Maintenance Manager (Engineering Degree Required in New York, NY

Supervises all activities of the HVAC Shops including direct supervision of 2 foremen and up to 24 mechanics and helpers. Responsible for code compliance of all HVAC, associated equipment. Directs day-to-day efforts on union shop staff, retains and supervises outside contractors and HVAC consultants, implements maintenance requests from clients, other maintenance supervisors and project managers. Performs shutdowns, startups and testing of chiller and fire standpipe systems to provide safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation and maintenance of plant systems. Perform startup and commissioning for new and existing HVAC and controls systems. Principal Responsibilities
