NYU Langone Medical Center Career Opportunity for Physician Assistants in the Medicine (Outpatient) Department!
-Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekend or holiday coverage! As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in an Adult Primary Care Clinic at Bellevue Hospital Center; transitioning inpatients to the clinic; ordering appropriate lab tests and diagnostic procedures; handling the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and referral of patients as appropriate; providing prescriptive services under the supervision of an attending physician; providing coverage for other PAs as needed; plus all related job duties as assigned. -Bachelor's or Master's degree from an AMA approved Physician Assistant program required.
-New York State PA licensure required.
-NCCPA certification plus prescriptive privileges required.
-Excellent communication skills are essential.
-Proficiency in Spanish, Chinese, or Bengladesh highly preferred.
