Physician Assistant for Urgent Care- Upstate New York in Jefferson County We have an exciting opportunity for an Urgent Care Physician Assistant, whose duties will include providing primary care services in an urgent care setting, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. As part of the group, you will work closely with other clinicians in a team approach to provide health care to all ages and examine and treat patients under the guidance of a collaborating, supervising physician. This Advanced Practitioner will work in a clinic environment, with a rotating shift schedule. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate concern for the health and well-being of others, have superior written and oral communication skills, as well as computer literacy including electronic medical record documentation and the ability to work both as a team member and independently. Candidates must have at least one year's experience as a PA in an urgent care or emergency department. BLS and ACLS certification required. PALS and ATLS preferred.
