Deployment Project Manager in New York, NY

Work out of your home office! This international industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opening in New York for a Deployment Project Manager. Will provide focused delivery of all aspects of project management, project scope definition, risk management, adaptable project scheduling, resource management, and consistent project documentation and reporting. Will support Delivery Manager and deployment team members in all aspects of Project Management with fully building and deploying steady state operations capabilities at a client site Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a senior-level PM with a variety of roles and complexities of IT project management. • 5+ years in IT operations environment, preferably as a vendor or with client side vendor integration experience.
• Understanding of mid-range computing platforms, storage, and networking. • Ability and willingness to travel.
• Experience with Datacenter environments and general requirements/challenges to hardware deployment.
• Experience with VMware and virtualization.
