Requirements
* A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Technology, or Engineering
* 10-20 years experience
* JDE experience is a plus, but not required; *** however implantation experience of a large ERP is REQUIRED, no flexibility on this ***
* Experienced in defining the project outline, including scope, business case, business requirements, project approach, project budget, and project time line for various projects including systems implementation, upgrade, software selection and process redesign projects
* Ability to assist in the development of staff and technical skills necessary to support the software environment
* Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor projects or large coordinated tasks
* Flexible, Team Player that is customer focused with strong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are necessary; ability to interact and with all levels of the company including senior management
Function A Leading Services Company located in New York City, NY is searching for a Senior Project Manager
Duties
* Provide direction and leadership to individuals assigned to JDE project teams in conducting activities related to all phases of project implementation
* Work independently in a complex matrix organization with management review of interim and end results
* Plan and direct the implementation of projects in a client server and/or web environment
* Requirements, data gathering, client interaction, testing, and deployment as well as management of junior project resources
* Align available Project resources with business needs
* Develop and maintain an appropriate organization structure
* Assume responsibility of the project execution (time, cost and expected benefits)
* Ability to drive to closure deliverables in a constantly-changing environment
* Develop and maintain effective communications between Project areas and business areas
* Must have the ability to follow policy and procedures associated with the appropriate change management of the environment
