Manager of Internal Controls and Technical Accounting in New York, NY

This is a growing company in search of a QuickBooks proficient Accounting Manager. This new position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses aggressive deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, tax and yearend audit preparation, the support of budget and forecast activities, and all other areas relating to financial reporting.
